What this register does—and does not—collect
Collect Charts is an independent fountain-pen catalog operated by Michael Dube. The current site has no accounts, contact form, checkout, advertising, affiliate tracking, behavioral analytics, community submissions, or portfolio feature. It does not ask for a visitor's name, email address, mailing address, payment details, or collection information.
Catalog search, maker filtering, and the Identification Desk worksheets run inside the visitor's browser. Search terms, filter selections, and identification observations are not sent to Collect Charts or saved by the application. The application does not set cookies or use local or session storage.
02 / Delivery record
Technical information used to operate the site
When a page or API route is requested, Cloudflare may process an IP address, requested URL and method, date and time, response status, browser or device information, network and routing information, and security or diagnostic metadata.
This information is used only to deliver the site, maintain reliability, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and protect the service. Collect Charts does not use it to build advertising profiles or follow visitors across unrelated websites.
Where a data-protection law requires a legal basis, this limited processing is intended to support the legitimate interests of operating, securing, and improving the service; to meet legal obligations; and to respond to steps a person asks the operator to take. This description does not determine which law applies in a particular case.
03 / Service providers
Cloudflare and Google
Collect Charts is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes end-user traffic and logs needed to provide, secure, and diagnose the service. Its practices are described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Data Processing Addendum (opens in a new tab).
The site does not contain a contact form. If someone chooses to email fountainpenregister@gmail.com, Google processes the message, sender address, routing metadata, and anything included in it under the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
These providers may process information in countries other than the visitor's own. Their published terms describe their processing locations and safeguards. Collect Charts does not sell technical or correspondence data to them.
04 / Retention
Kept only for a defined reason
Collect Charts does not copy visitor request logs into its catalog database or a separate analytics service. The current Cloudflare Workers Free configuration retains Worker logs for up to three days under Cloudflare's current Workers Logs documentation (opens in a new tab).
Voluntary email is used to answer the inquiry, review corrections, document rights or source permissions, handle privacy requests, protect the service, meet legal obligations, or establish or defend claims. Routine correspondence is kept only while reasonably needed to resolve and document the matter. Rights, permission, security, or legal records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for that relationship, obligation, or claim.
The catalog database contains source-backed fountain-pen facts and source-permission records—not visitor profiles.
05 / Sharing
No sale, targeted advertising, or hidden audience file
Technical request information is shared with Cloudflare only as needed to host, deliver, secure, and diagnose the service. Voluntary correspondence is processed through Google. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
Collect Charts does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use targeted advertising. Because those practices are absent, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals do not change application behavior.
06 / Requests
Choices, corrections, and privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, a person may ask whether Collect Charts holds personal information about them and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Email fountainpenregister@gmail.com with the subject Privacy request. Proportionate verification may be required to protect another person's information.
Do not send passwords, government identification, payment information, health information, or unrelated sensitive material unless the operator specifically explains why a limited item is necessary.
07 / General audience
Children and changes to this notice
The register is a general-audience research catalog and is not directed to children under 13. It does not offer accounts or knowingly request personal information from children. A concern can be reported to fountainpenregister@gmail.com.
If the service later adds accounts, forms that submit or store visitor data, portfolio data, uploads, analytics, advertising, affiliate links, payments, or community submissions, this notice and the relevant controls must be revised before that collection begins. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
